ALL IN Lacrosse History

How It Began

ALL IN Lacrosse is a dynamic lacrosse club based in Illinois. It was founded from a lifelong passion for the sport that has been developing since its earliest days. Our personal histories—shaped by our upbringing, educational experiences, athletic pursuits, and competitive teams—have significantly influenced the individuals we have become today.

The story of ALL IN Lacrosse’s inception is a testament to the power of chance. In 2009, Mark’s path crossed with Gary Plaster and his family through a Craigslist advertisement seeking a lacrosse instructor. This seemingly random connection turned out to be the catalyst for future collaborations in the sport, laying the foundation for what would become ALL IN Lacrosse.

Fast forward to the fall of 2011, when Pat Rodgers, inspired to take an active role in lacrosse, found the Plaster family through the same platform. Gary, recognizing the potential for collaboration, played an instrumental role in linking Mark and Pat together, igniting a partnership that would prove to be vital for the club’s success.

Mark and Pat, with their shared vision and personal connection to lacrosse, quickly realized their dream of creating a supportive and competitive environment for lacrosse players. Mark’s extensive experience in personal training and athlete development, coupled with Pat’s strategic business acumen, allowed them to effectively blend the physical and competitive aspects of the sport with a sound business strategy. This marked the official establishment of ALL IN Lacrosse, the beginning of a journey dedicated to developing players and fostering a love for the game.
